When night falls, one little robot will do anything to avoid powering down. He turns on his stalling program. He brushes his cogs as slowly as possible. He asks Mom Unit to read him a manual. But, no matter what he tries, Mom Unit is there to brush off his excuses and tuck him tightly into his sleep module. Readers will surely relate to Little Robot and his earnest attempts to avoid powering down, making Power Down, Little Robot a perfect read for bedtime.

Small Elephant's Bathtime
Written & Illustrated by Tatyana Feeney

I'm a huge fan of Tatyana Feeney's books and art, so I'm thrilled to see a new picture book from her. Like her other books (Small Bunny's Blue Blanket, Little Frog's Tadpole Trouble, etc), Feeney keeps her illustrations adorably simple and her text minimal. Small Elephant's Bathtime follows a little elephant loves water - except when it's time for a bath.

Families, Families, Families!
Written by Suzanne Lang; Illustrated by Max Lang

I love this book! In Families, Families, Families! Suzanne and Max Lang use all types of animals to illustrate every type of family you can imagine. The text is quick and humors, but it's the illustrations that steal the show. The expressions and animal combinations are quirky, charming, and entirely too cute.

Mustache Baby Meets His Match
Written by Bridget Heos; Illustrated by Joy Ang

In this sequel to the hilarious Mustache Baby, everybody's favorite mustachioed baby meets his match - a bearded baby! Parents and kids alike love these books by Bridget Heos and Joy Ang. It's near impossible not to pick this one up - it's just too darn funny! And don't worry, there's  a great lesson about friendship here as well.

My Grandma's a Ninja
Written by Todd Tarpley; Illustrated by

Ethan's grandma is a ninja, which is pretty great - until her ninja skills start messing things up in his life. His teacher has fainted, his soccer ball is deflated, and his friends are annoyed. Ethan loves his grandma, but things have gone too far!

This book is seriously funny and has fantastic illustrations. I'd love to seem more antics from this unforgettable grandma!
